  Dr. McCarthy is the best doctor I've ever had. I have been going to him over this past year because my endocrinologist couldn't get to the root cause of my medical ailments and had been prescribing me the same dosage of synthroid for years despite my lack of energy throughout the day. I went to Dr. McCarthy and he worked with me through several trials and fine-tunings of my medication to make sure I was getting exactly the right medicine for my thyroid (a compounded medication which ended up being almost double what my endocrinologist prescribed). We also found a few other things that were out of whack that my endocrinologist never addressed. I feel fantastic now, have lost a little weight, have energy all day, and I never feel anxious. My antibody count went from being through the roof to relatively normal for someone with my autoimmune thyroid disease.
  
  My only complaint is that sometimes you may end up waiting a while past your appointment time, but that is only because he's being so in-depth with each patient that it sometimes runs over. I can respect and appreciate that. He never skimps out on your appointment.
  
  Dr. McCarthy truly cares about patients and making sure that they understand what is happening in their bodies. He looks at all of your organs as a system of the whole and not a standalone object - a true naturopath. He's also really nice and above all just awesome. I encouraged my mom to start seeing him too and am very excited for her to start feeling better once she starts treatment.
